City of Burbank

Located in Southern California, the City of Burbank (population 104,500) had numerous needs in the area of cost consulting two years ago. The City had had problems getting its citywide cost allocation plan prepared in a timely fashion. The City also indicated a need to have more thorough state mandated cost reimbursement claims prepared by its consultant, and to make sure that claims were filed on time.

Burbank selected Public Resource Management Group (PRM) to assist the City with both engagements.

PRM spent the extra time with the appropriate departments to gain early buy-in to its cost allocation plan methodology, holding several workshops and individual interviews. PRM assisted the City to gather all of the needed data for the cost plan, as well as preparing the plan and submitting it on time.

Concurrent with the cost allocation plan project, PRM assisted the City to identify all outstanding unclaimed SB 90 claiming programs, gather the necessary data, and file all eligible claims for the City over the past two years.
